Turner the future space traveler....
This is a recent picture of Turner (21 months) with his version of a hat. He loves putting tupperware on his head and he insisits we do the same. Our almost two year old is cracking us up daily. From his incredible imaginative play, to his somewhat bossy nature, to his rapidly expanding vocabulary... he continues to amaze us.

Maybe it's a improvised gas mask?
I made up a joke...
Turner is in high school and he's taking the WASL exam. One of the questions in the math portion states:
"Your father is installing 952 square feet of new flooring in your family home that retails for $3.00 a square foot. He's also painting rooms with paint that retails for $20.00 a gallon and he needs 6 gallons of paint. He's also got to pay 8.9% sales tax, but he gets a discount of 15% for paying cash? What does this cost?"
Turner confidently fills in an answer and turns in the exam. While grading, the teacher comes across his answer and pulls Turner aside to talk about it. He says "Turner, generally you did very well on the exam, including the algebra and geometry. But you did miss a fairly simple math story problem on simple economics. In this question, you answered $57.00 when it should be several thousand dollars."
Turner says: "well, my dad never pays retail !"
